At Least 20 construction
workers escaped death after a two storey building under construction at
Nkpokiti Estate,
Independence Layout, Enugu collapsed in the early hours of
Friday, March 24th, 2017. However, two workers who came in early for work
sustained various degrees for injury.
The building allegedly
belongs to Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Edward Ubosi.
While addressing journalists, Commissioner for Capital Territory Development, Hon. Chidi Aroh, said the ministry will take full responsibility for the incident but revealed that they had earlier ordered for work to stop at the site as there was no form of approval given for the building...
