29yr old Nigerian man nabbed with 1.5kg of cocaine in SA

Tracing Unit in a raid arrested a Nigerian man in Boksburg North, South Africa,
found in possession of a large amount of cocaine, Cat and cash on Monday, April
11.
According to EMPD
spokesman Lieut-Col Wilfred Kgasago, the metro police confiscated the drugs
weighing a whopping 1.5kg, estimated to be worth R2 million in the streets.
Cash amounting to more than R8000 was also confiscated.
"Acting on
intelligence received from members of South African Police Service, the metro
police pounced on a house at the corner of 2nd Street and 13th Avenue
in Boksburg. A lone 29-year-old man was found in an outside room where he is
tenant"
On searching a bag found
on the bed in the room, the metro police found eight bags laden with cocaine
and seventeen with the drug cat.
"The combined mass
of the drugs amounted to 1.5kgs," said Kgasago.
The arrested Nigerian
was charged with dealing in illicit substances at Boksburg North police station
and is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
