The self-acclaimed godfather of Anambra politics and a member of the
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Chief Chris Uba, has
described as highly credible the governorship election held in his
native Anambra State last Saturday.
Uba in a media briefing at Awka, the Anambra State Capital Monday expressed surprise that the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Chris Ngige, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade Tony Nwoye and the Labour Party candidate (LP), Chief Ifeanyi Ubah could disparage the election as not being credible and bring it to disrepute.
According to him, since the APGA candidate in the election , Chief Willie Obiano, won outright in 16 Local Government Areas and got 25 percent of votes cast in 18, the INEC should have declared him the winner and avoid the postponement of his victor. www.mannastores.com
