FG to demolish buildings along Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Rd in Abuja
The department last Saturday demolished 100 illegal buildings belonging to the Nigerian Prisons Service, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps and Liberty Estate, in Kyami District along the Airport Road.
The director said the developers ignored the various ‘stop work and quit notices’ served on them and the department had no alternative than to pull down the structures, many of which were at advanced levels.

Venus and Serena Williams Live in Lagos from October 30th
As part of a planned African Tour, International Tennis champions,
Serena and Venus Williams are scheduled to visit Lagos from Tuesday
30 October to Friday 2, November 2012 as part of the first leg of the
recently launched ‘Breaking the Mould’ (BTM) campaign, a women’s
empowerment initiative that has already garnered international support.
While in Lagos, the dynamic duo will inspire, motivate and
mentor a broad range of audiences through a series of supporting
