Rick Ross’ releases Nigerian version of Hold Me Back [Watch Here]
This video has caused a lot of backlash on social media forums, with many people complaining about the way Rick Ross depicted Nigeria and Nigerians. Many feel the video should have shown the affluent part of Nigeria.
The US version of this track was also shot in the hood, depicting poverty and crime in the ghetto. I tire for Naija people sha they can complain, you are damned if you do, damned if don’t.

D’Banj featured on Kanye West’s “Cruel Summer” Album Art
Check out the CD inlay of Kanye West‘s new album Cruel Summer which drops today …yep that’s D’Banj front and centre beside label mate Kid Cudi.
He’s rocking all black everything along with the rest of the crew which includes, Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, 2 Chainz and many more.
So for those who were dissapointed by his long awaited 8 sec (background) US debut on The Morning track #5 on the Cruel Summer album, at least he has a prominent spot on the album art **Kanye Shrug**

Nollywood star & GLO Ambassador Monalisa Chinda showd up at the 4th Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa dressed in an ankara top and black maxi skirt, she finished off the look with a green head wrap, gold accessories and a bold red lip. A different look for her but I guess her and her stylist Ezinna Chinkata are experimenting with fashion choices.
The event which was organised by the Lumina Foundation went down last week at the Civic Centre in Lagos.

Today’s epic fashion battle is between the lady best known as 2face’s other half Annie Macaulay and media personality/VicO’s twitter crush (LOL!) Toke Makinwa. The two ladies are rocking a body con dress from Nigerian Designer Vonne. The striped dress is called the Convict Dress.
Annie wore the orange and black version on it’s own without any bells
and whistles while Toke styled her pink and black one with a moschino
