Even though Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days, she wants her fans to know that her relationship with Kanye West will last even longer. It already has and her divorce proceedings are taking longer than her marriage ever could’ve.
The reality star is convinced that her relationship with Kanye will stand the test of time because they both actually took time out to build a strong friendship between themselves before embarking on anything more serious. The duo went public with their relationship just shortly after she split from Kris last year.
They have been friends for several years already, and she says that she believes their strong connection provides them with a strong foundation for a long-lasting romance. In a new interview with “InStyle”, she said, “We know what we are to each other. We’ve had a deep friendship for so log and that’s the start of a really good relationship.”
She also talked of the rumors that Kanye has been writing about their relationship is his new songs. She added, “People can interpret it however they want. That’s him making music. I don’t even know it’s about me.”
