Chuck Brown
Veteran guitarist and singer Chuck Brown has died.Brown who is fondly called the ‘Godfather of Go-go’ passed away on Wednesday, May 16, at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, after being hospitalized for pneumonia.
His death was confirmed by his manager Tom Goldfogle. He was aged 75 years. Prior to his death, his deteriorating health had forced him to cancel shows weeks as he was admitted into the hospital.
Brown released 22 albums in his four decades plus career.
