The governor of Oyo state Gov Ajimobi and his family have adopted the kids of a mentally challanged woman.
The mother of the kids Miss Taiwo Monsurat Ariyo who is an orphan has been mentally unstable since she was 10 years old.
The two boys were immediately given the surname of the governor as they were named, Abdulbasit Oluwaseyifunmi and Abdulwariz Oluwaseunfunmi Ajimobi at a naming ceremony attended by government functionaries.
According to the doctor in charge of the case, Dr. Jonathan Osamoh, the Hausa Community in Sabo brought Taiwo and her twins to the Adeoyo Maternity hospital after she had an unhygienic delivery within the Sabo community.
Dr. Osamoh disclosed that Taiwo’s condition is treatable and can be stabilised with time.
