Senate Rejects State Burial for Ojukwu

Yesterday, the Nigerian senate asked the Federal Government to immortalize the late Biafran leader who died last week in London hospital, but rejected the clamour (by some prominent Igbo leaders, and some South East Governors) for Ojukwu to be given a state burial. 

The senate argued that giving Ojukwu a state burial would amount to a bad precedent. State burials are reserved for heads of state only, right?www.mannastores.com
