The rumour mill is at work again. News have been making the rounds and many are already speaking with air of authority that all is not well between two jolly good fellows and business partners, Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye.
The duo that revived the hip-hop culture with their entertainment company, Primetime Africa and Kennis Music, are said to have fallen out due to irreconcilable differences but are managing the situation magnanimously.
The split, according to industry watchers, allegedly started when Kenny Ogungbe began managing his uncle’s Rainbow FM without his ever present friend, Dayo, and the two have not been seen together at public events recently since the Kennis Music Easter Fiesta.
Kenny Ogungbe debunked the story, calling it “a lie. “That is not true. There is no crack in my relationship with D-One. We still organized the Kennis Music Easter Fiesta together recently. My uncle, Chief Onabanjo, owns the radio station and I am the Managing Director here. ID, who is my younger brother, is not at Rainbow with me. So does that mean we are fighting? Please, the story is not true.”www.mannamart.com
