DSS discovery of shallow graves in Abia

The Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] has called on the International

Community to conduct a thorough DNA and autopsy test on the recently

discovered alleged bodies of five Fulani herdsmen in shallow graves in

Abia to prove they really are.

The Department of State Services [DSS] over the weekend alleged that

the members of the IPOB were behind the killing of the alleged five

Fulani herdsmen, whose graves were found in a forest in Abia state.

The called was contained in a statement sent to The Nation in Umuahia

by Emma Powerful, head of media and publicity for IPOB, saying that

the coroner test will help to expose the bodies of over 200 of their

members killed within the period of November 2015-Februaury 2016.

Emma described the allegation by the DSS, as a movie script written in

Abuja and directed by one of the South East governor, merely to

satisfy the yearnings of his paymasters, for his selfish reasons.

He said that the South East governor was directed by his masters in

Abuja when the allegation on IPOB failed following the public outcry

by members of the public to head to Umuhaia to ensure that the DSS

storyline is kept alive.

Emma said, “He quickly went to Umuahia where the IPOB killing was

shifted to kidnappers and armed robbers to save their faces and tried

to convince his Abia state counterpart to tow the same line”.

He noted that the DSS members never considered the implications of

their actions which could lead to ethnic killing among the two ethnic

groups of Igbo and Fulani who have been living harmoniously.

The IPOB media man said, “But for the uproar from all quarters and an

acknowledgment from the whole world that this mindless frame up would

lead to grave unimaginable blood bath, this tragic-comedy could have

played out.

The movie script was just to paint IPOB black at the expense of

thousands or may be tens of thousands of lives that would have

invariable been destroyed, just so, some people would blindly have

their way”.

He said that the actions of the script writers failed but tried to

douse the tension and attempt to repair an already damaged story line,

which clearly confirms to the world, that the earlier accusation on

IPOB by the DSS over the weekend clearly had sinister motives.
