Ritualists’ den uncovered in Lagos

                                                    

Two suspected ritualists smoked out from the tunnel were burnt alive, while two others were arrested by policemen and soldiers. The incident happened at Obadeyi Bus Stop, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

Three suspected child kidnappers, including a 70-year-old woman were arrested by police in Issele-Uku,a suburb of Asaba, Delta State capital. The suspects identified as Emmanuel Udagwu and Celestina Enebeli have been kidnapping children in Ndemili and surrounding villages and afterwards sell them through the old woman to buyers in the Eastern part of Nigeria. 

However, luck ran out on them that day when two kids were found in their possessions by the police on Monday, November 13th. During interrogation, they confessed to having kidnapped 9 children so far. Festus Nwaomucha, whose 5-year-old niece was kidnapped by the suspects and sold along with another child for N500k, posted the photos on Facebook. See his post below: 

Kidnappers of Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abdulaziz Yusuf demand N60 million ransom

Kidnappers of Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abdulaziz Yusuf, have demanded a N60 million ransom as condition for his release.

The cleric, who is the administrative secretary of the Plateau State branch of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI)  was kidnapped near Kaduna alongside his driver on Wednesday evening on his way back to Jos from Kaduna State.The victim was to join Sheikh Khalid Aliyu in Jos so that the two would travel to Sokoto this morning on a condolence visit to the family of late Sultan of Sokoto.
