205 members of staff at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been suspended and placed on half salary, after the consideration of a report by the Disciplinary Committee set up to look into an interim report by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), accusing some of its officials of fraud during the 2015 General Elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, February 16th, 2019 for the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections^. While the Governorship/State Assembly/Federal Capital Territory Area Council Elections will hold on Saturday 2nd March 2019.
