ctress Rita Dominic steps on the red carpet during AMAA 2011. She’s up for ‘Best actress in leading role’ this year.We’ve been waiting for months. Now, the producers have released the list of nominees for this year’s Africa Movie Academy awards.
AMAA, currently the continent’s most prestigious awards for filmmakers, announced the nominees last week in Banjul, the capital of The Gambia, at an exclusive ceremony attended by celebrities, top government officials and captains of industry from The Gambia and other African countries.
This year’s event, to be hosted by Haitian born international actor, Jimmy Jean-Louis will hold in Lagos on April 22.
