Peter Crouch marries Abbey Clancy at a ceremony in Leicestershire

England footballer Peter Crouch married his fiancee Abbey Clancy at a ceremony in Leicestershire yesterday.
Crouch, 30, tied the knot with the 25-year-old model and TV presenter at a church in the 500-acre grounds of Stapleford Park Country House Hotel near Melton.www.mannastores.com

The Tottenham Hotspur striker and his bride exchanged vows at 4pm in St Mary Magdalene church in the grounds of the luxury hotel.
Four years ago, the happy couple were guests at the wedding reception of England and Manchester United player Michael Carrick and his bride, Lisa, at the 17th century hotel.
Michael and Lisa got married in the church of St Peter's, Wymonham, before moving on to the grade-I listed hotel.
However, Peter and Abbey wed at the church on the grounds of the four-star venue – which boasts rooms priced at more than £685-a-night.
To avoid any wedding gatecrashers they booked the hotel on an exclusive basis for the whole day and night.
The couple have been dating six years and Clancy gave birth to their first child, Sophia Ruby, in March.
Abbey wore a stunning traditional white dress and Peter donned a traditional suit outfit as they exchanged vows in front of a exclusive congregation.
Abbey was driven to the 18th century church in a light blue Bentley.
Emerging 45 minutes later as Mr and Mrs Crouch, the bride and groom came out of the church and toasted their nuptials with a glass of Champagne.
Abbey had to stand on tip-toes to give her 6ft 7ins husband a kiss in front of waiting photographers, just a few hundred yards from the venue.
Hours earlier, Abbey had been puffing away on cigarettes trying to combat wedding day jitters.
Peter played a round of golf on the hotel course with members of Abbey's family.
The hotel played host to a galaxy of stars four years ago when pop superstar Michael Jackson, actresses Faye Dunaway and Raquel Welch and supermodels Jerry Hall and Naomi Campbell partied there, celebrating the 25th birthday of Prince Azim of Brunei – son of the billionaire Sultan of Brunei, whose family own the estate.
Janet Allen, landlady of the Three Horseshoes pub in nearby Whissendine, said the couple were welcome to pop in for a drink.
Mrs Allen said: "We haven't any Champagne but we could pull Peter a decent pint of beer and get Abbey a nice half of lager.
"We don't have a beer garden as such but she could pop outside the front door for a cigarette."
Mr Saurinder Singh, who runs the White Lion in Whissendine, said: "We are not quite at the standard of Stapleford Park, but we do a very good curry and serve a nice pint of Everards – good Leicestershire beer.
"We would love to see the happy couple drop in before they shoot off."
Stapleford Park was originally the seat of the Sherard family, later the Earls of Harborough and its grounds were landscaped by Capability Brown.www.mannastores.com
