At the 1st ball at The Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall hosted by Oba Otudeko & Wale Tinubu…Mr & Mrs GEJ channelled Barack & Michelle (circa 2009 when Beyonce serenaded them to Etta James’ At Last). Other performers on the night were Onyeka Onwenu who performed One Love. My friend who watched it told me that Ben Murray Bruce who owns Silverbird Group (he was one of the hosts of the night) tried to get the 1st couple to engage in some lip-locking ofcourse they didn’t (I dunno where Ben Bruce thought he was!)
The 2nd ball was at the International Conference Centre where Alex Zitto (damn! where the hell has he been?) performed.
Top shots in business, politics, entertainment & sports attended both events. I guess it was the hottest ticket in town…Genevieve Nnaji, Darey Art Alade, Yinka Davies, Dr Sid and loads more were all in attendance…D’Banj wasn’t there…I wonder why?
