36 year old neighnor abducts 11-month-old baby from sleeping mum and rapes her for 2hours in jungle
An 11
month old baby was on Friday allegedly abducted from
her mum who was sleeping in a make shift shelter at the police housing complex
in Delhi, India and raped by her 36 year old neighbour for two hours in a
nearby jungle leaving the toddler unconscious.
Police officials from
the Vikaspuri region arrived on Friday night around 11pm and found the baby unconscious then rushed her to the intensive
care unit at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
“The girl was bleeding
profusely. Doctors at the hospital have said that her condition is serious. The
police team was helped by the recovery of the mobile phone to track the
location of the accused. We traced him to the labour camp.”
The suspect when caught
by police, reportedly admitted that he abducted the child.
Police said to Times of
India:
“He said he then took her to the bushes beside a
drain and raped her for nearly two hours.”
The man has been charged
with rape and is being held in Tihar Jail.
The child’s father told
police:
“I was horrified to see my daughter’s condition.
Her clothes were torn and she had nail marks all over the body. The severe
injuries might have a lifelong impact on her health.”
