Ebola Outbreak: Liberia Imposes Curfew

As countries in West Africa battle hard to curtail the spread of the deadly Ebola virus; Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has imposed a night-time curfew from tonight (Wednesday) and announced that two affected neighbourhoods have also been quarantined in effort to curb the spread.

“Commencing Wednesday, August 20 there will be a curfew from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am (2100 to 0600 GMT),” she said in a radio address late Tuesday night.
