Should the US include Boko Haram in its foreign terrorist watch list?

I'm sure you have all heard that the US government is considering including Nigerian militant group, Boko Haram, in its terrorist watch list. Now the Federal Government, through its US ambassador, Ade Adefuye,and the National Security Adviser, General Andrew Azazi, have formally asked the US Government not to do so because the move will definitely make it more difficult for Nigerians to travel to the US and even cause friction between the two countries.
